Fall Product Program is Now Treats & Reads!

Treats & Reads 2020

Introducing the new name of our Fall Product Program: Treats & Reads!

Exciting activities are ahead for Girl Scouts this Treats & Reads season. As we count down to Go Day, September 26, be on the lookout for our weekly at-home family activities and a “Where in the Council is Sasha the Sloth?” contest on social media, where girls can participate in a mystery prize drawing each week AND have the chance to get their very own giant plush Sasha.

Plus, stay tuned for a girl-focused program in September, where we’ll give tips on how to create their best marketing video (and maybe get a preview of this year’s Treats & Reads rewards)! Get the full details on this year’s program here.

This year, we’ve added new badges in the categories of:

  • Entrepreneur

  • Automotive Engineering
  • Civics

Get all the exciting details, and then try free sample badge activities for girls of all ages through Girl Scouts at Home.

New Religious Award Resources

While Girl Scouts is a secular organization, we have always encouraged girls to take spiritual journeys via their faiths’ religious recognitions. Check out our new PRAY Virtual Learning Resources, designed to assist parents who may wish to serve as counselors and help guide their children to complete their religious emblem. You can find them under the Faith Emblem Instruction at Home drop-down menu.
