Girl Scout Cookie Booths will be in your area beginning February 12! Our girls are ready to show the world “We’ve Got This!” with innovative drive-thru, virtual and socially distanced cookie booths. Support a Girl Scout near you by visiting a cookie booth in your area.

This year, we’re celebrating National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend, February 19-21, by donating hand-made cards and packages of cookies to local healthcare workers. Free Democracy Badge Booklets
Girl Scouts use their determination to lead every day in the fight for a clean environment, racial and gender equality, safety issues, local concerns, and so much more.
With our newly released Democracy badges, Girl Scouts from Daisies to Ambassadors will be prepared to lead positive change in their school, town, state, and country! To encourage understanding and participation in our democracy, these badge booklets are available to download free until February 4, 2021.

Fling Flyer Launch – February 20 – Virtual Program
Brownies are invited to join the WURocketry Club, a rocket design team from Washington University, to learn about airplane flight by creating different paper airplanes! Girls will learn about the forces that affect flight as they design, build, and test their designs—just like engineers.
Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day – February 25 – Virtual Program
Join the Society of Women Engineers to learn more about engineering and what engineers do. Girls will participate in two virtual design challenges with the help of female professional engineers and engineering students.
World Thinking Day Panel with Returned Peace Corps Volunteers – February 18 – Virtual Program
Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri and the St. Louis Peace Corps Association are joining forces for World Thinking Day 2021! During this virtual event, we’ll hear from a panel of Returned Peace Corps Volunteers who served in different countries around the world. Girls will have a chance to talk to a former Peace Corps volunteer about the ways they have promoted peace in different parts of the world.

Troop Leader Blueprint PEP Session
Join us from the comfort of home on Wednesday, Feb 24 at 6 pm, for a virtual tutorial on the Troop Leader Blueprint!
Keep your troop going strong with specially adapted badges, Journeys and activities for virtual and in-person safe meetings, as well as local, current COVID-19 guidelines and resources. The new Troop Leader Blueprint provides needed support for each program level (plus multi-level). We’re here to support you as you help your troop thrive.

Giving Back to girl Scouts
Our largest fundraising event of the year is going virtual! Join us for our 10th annual Dessert First and celebrate two remarkable Gold Award Girl Scouts and the extraordinary achievements and contributions of three Legacy Builders—all from the comfort of home. Participants will enjoy dinner, wine and one-of-a-kind Girl Scout Cookie-inspired treats from prominent St. Louis chefs delivered right to their door to enjoy during the live stream program.

World Thinking day 2021
World Thinking Day 2021 celebrates what it means to be a peacebuilder, an important component of being a Girl Scout. Celebrate on February 22 with your troop or caregiver using the resources and activities here. After you earn your 2021 World Thinking Day Award, you can purchase the award in the Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri shop!
Global Action Award
The Girl Scout Global Action award calls for girls to address the Global Goals by discovering, connecting and taking action in their communities and the world. This year, encourage your Girl Scout or troop to get involved and help make the world more sustainable! Once they’ve earned this nationally recognized award, stop by the GSEM Shop and purchase the official patch to proudly display on a sash or vest. Learn more about this award here.
