For more than a century, Girl Scouts has operated safely in times of crisis and turmoil as the health and well-being of our young leaders and adult volunteers are our top concern. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, we have continued to monitor the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and follow local/state social distancing mandates.

Out of an abundance of caution for our Girl Scouts and extended Girl Scout family, we have made the tough decision to extend our current in-person program suspension. All in-person Girl Scout programs, troop camping and events, including Girl Scout school activities and facility rentals, are canceled through at least Friday, July 31, and all Resident and Day Camps are canceled through summer 2020. The organization’s Annual Representative Assembly and Recognitions Ceremony will also now be a virtual event scheduled for Saturday, July 11.

Despite the changes in our programming, the Girl Scout experience she loves and has come to count on is still going strong and will continue adapting to meet her needs. We’re evolving at the speed of the girl so she doesn’t miss out on anything! New adventures, including backyard camping expeditions, activities and much more, are regularly rolled out and announced on our Girl Scouting From Home microsite. From home and online (as long as it’s needed), Girl Scouts is here for her, providing the tools and resources necessary for a lifetime of leadership and success.
